In developing the G-Series, Bettis improved on a basic concept- the Reaction Bar – by adding our exclusive Powr-Swivl™, replaceable bearings, highly corrosion and wear resistant coating system and tension rod compressed spring. The result of these outstanding features and superior quality control assembly techniques provide for the latest generation in valve actuation – the G-Series.

Operating Ranges
G-Series double-acting models produce guaranteed torque outputs from 12,581 lb-in to 6,000,000 lb-in (1420-678,000 Nm). Spring-return units produce spring torques in excess of 3,000,000 in-lb (339,000 Nm). G-Series actuators are suitable for continuous operation at pneumatic pressures from 40-2000 PSIG (3-14 BAR) and hydraulic pressures to 5000 PSIG (345 BAR). Standard temperatures range for the G-Series is -20°F to +200°F. (-29°C to +93°C). Optional low temperature
trim extend the actuator to -50°F to +180°F (-46°C to +82°C) for pneumatic units and -50°F to +200°F (-46°C to +93°C) for hydraulic units. Optional high temperature trim is suitable for continuous exposure between 0°F to +350°F (-18°C to +177°C).
