Steam Service Capabilities — Gasketed seat ring prevents wire draw erosion between the valve body and the seat ring, permitting use of carbon steel valves in saturated condensate and wet steam services.
Longer Seat Life — Path of eccentric plug minimizes contact with seat ring when opening, reducing seat wear and friction. The aerodynamically contoured valve plug eliminates flow-induced torque reversals.
Easy Installation — Integral valve body flanges mate with many different classes of pipeline flanges,satisfying a variety of piping requirements. Flanges eliminate exposed line flange bolting, shorten alignment and installation time, and promote secure valve installations and piping integrity.
Improved Environmental Capabilities — The optional ENVIRO-SEAL packing systems are designed with very smooth shaft surfaces and live-loading to provide improved sealing. The seal of the ENVIRO-SEAL system can restrict emissions to less than the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) limit of 500 ppm (parts per million).
Noise Attenuation — The optional noise attenuation disk can be installed on new or existing installations to reduce pipeline noise. Special valve or piping modifications are not required.
Sour Gas Service Capability — Trim materials are available for applications handling sour fluids and gases. These constructions comply with the recommendations of National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) MR0175.
