Type 2100 Pneumatic and Type 2100E Electric Liquid Level Switches
The on-off Type 2100 pneumatic switch (figure 1) and Type 2100E electric switch (figure 2) sense high or low liquid levels. Typically, these switches pneumatically or electrically operate safety shutdown systems for field processing equipment in oil and gas production applications. The Type 2100 and 2100E switches both use a displacer-style sensor located in an external cage that mounts on the outside of a vessel. More Info

Type L3 Pneumatic Level Controller
The Type L3 Pneumatic Level Controller (see figure 1) is designed to sense liquid level or interface level in a vessel, and produce a standard pneumatic output signal proportional to the process variable. More Info

Type L2 Liquid Level Controller
The rugged Type L2 liquid level controller uses a displacer type sensor (see figures 1 and 2) to detect liquid level or the interface of two liquids of different specific gravities. This controller is ideal for controlling level on gas separators and scrubbers. The reliability of the Type L2 design makes it well suited for high pressure liquid level applications in natural gas production, compression, and processing. More Info

Type DL3 Digital Level Transmitter
The Type DL3 Digital Level Transmitter (see figure 1) is designed to sense the level of a liquid, the level of an interface between two liquids, or the density of a liquid in a vessel, and produce a standard 4-20mA analog output signal proportional to the process variable. More Info

FIELDVUE DLC3000 Series Digital Level Controllers
FIELDVUE DLC3000 Series digital level controllers (figure 1) are used with level sensors to measure liquid level, the level of the interface between two liquids, or liquid specific gravity (density). More Info

2506 Series Receiver-Controllers
The Type 2506 Multi-Trol receiver-controller (figure 1) takes the input from a pneumatic transmitter, matches it against the adjustable set point, and provides a proportional pneumatic output to a control valve actuator. The Type 2506 receiver-controller may be used in conjunction with a remote receiving indicator or recorder also using the output from the transmitter. More Info

2500-249 Series Pneumatic Controllers and Transmitters
Typical caged and cageless sensor/instrument configurations are shown in figures 1 and 2. Caged sensors (figure 3) provide more stable operation than do cageless sensors (figure 4) for vessels with internal obstructions or considerable internal turbulence. Cageless sensors are generally used on specific gravity and interface control applications requiring large displacers that are more easily accommodated by flange connections up to 8 inches, and the availability of many different displacer stem lengths permits lowering the displacer down to the most advantageous depth in the vessel. Level Instrument Selection Guide
FIELDVUE DLC3000 Series digital level controllers are loop-powered instruments. In conjunction with a 249 Series sensor, they measure changes in liquid level, the level of an interface between two liquids, or liquid specific gravity (density). A level, density, or interface level change in the measured fluid causes a change in the displacer position. More Info
